Geerlings "baby" watch 2012!

Great news today! My husband is finally coming home with the girls and the end of the paperwork is in sight!! Martha called Evan a little while ago and told him to get to court in an hour to meet with the judge and sign the final paperwork ("sentencia"). After the papers are signed, they will have about 4 more days of paperwork (birth certificates, passports, doctor, visas) and then they are in the clear to come to the US. Their return tickets are currently 5/19 so they will definitely make that if not a day sooner.

Wednesday Evan and the girls went to the mall to go to a salon for Evan to get his hair cut and for them to get their nails done - their 1st pedicure ever! They spent a few hours there getting pampered and laughing at the foot massage and sloughing of the skin. Evan said they were cracking up! Ha

Everyone is going stir crazy in the apartment so Evan got a hotel room last night for 1 night at the Radisson. The hotel is right by the Hacienda Santa Barbara mall where they have been several times to get Evan's SIM cards for his phone. Jeffrey and his kids came over to swim with them and everyone had a blast. They all walked to the mall for dinner and Evan said the food was really good and it was a decent scale restaurant. Today Evan, Talia and Leidy got to partake in the free breakfast buffet at the Radisson and then headed back to the pool. The hotel gave them a late checkout today of 6 which is super spectacular but Martha called and they ended up leaving in a fury to head to the courthouse at 2. That was the best quick departure of a good time ever.  ;)
