Movie & nail day!

This morning Martha wanted to treat the girls to manicures at her salon so they got to go an adventure by themselves. She sent a driver to come get them and bring them to her and I am guessing that was the first time they have ever done anything like that on their own without adult supervision directly over them. Leidy got a little nervous and asked Evan a couple of times if he was coming too. Once they got the gist of it he said they were excited and waving in the car to him all the way down the street.

They got back with their fancy new nails and since the mall is SO obnoxiously packed on weekends, Evan decided to do a movie today. They had the same driver come back a little while later to pick them up to go to the mall where the theater is to see Avengers which the girls loved.

When the movie was over they hit the food court for dinner (they have a knock off BK called Whopper King that Evan took a pic of). At one of the tables they noticed a shopping bag that someone had left with new shoes in it so Evan used it as a good life lesson. He told the girls that they should wait until after they eat and if the shoes were still there, they should take them to security in case the person comes back. The person never came back so they took the shoes to security.   :)

I haven't been able to Skype with the girls in 3 days so tomorrow for sure! Talia tried to Facetime me today but I was at PT for my shoulder and couldn't answer it (and they have no wi-fi anyways).

Tomorrow I hope to hear back from Martha on an email I sent to her asking if the lawyer checked in with the court today about our paperwork progress and also about getting the girls their appt with the doctor at the US Embassy. Cross your fingers for a good response!
