Skypes...

It is so nice to be able to Skype with the girls whenever we want. Before, we had 4 reserved times a week that were very challenging for varied reasons. Evan and I would work around our schedules and then they would either be at school late or have a bad connection or something and I would say in recent times we would only Skype 10% of the time. We would wait and wait and wait.....so, yeah....this is awesome!

Today they didn't do much other than their English lessons and walk around the neighborhood and grab some groceries.

Evan learned that there is a guy coming today who is staying at a different condo on the other side of the park and he is adopting a boy / girl older sibling set that our girls know from their former orphanage. Evan is going to try to get in contact with him and see if the kids want to hang out at the park or anything. Would be great for Evan to have someone else as well.  ;)

Tomorrow there should be lots to report and hopefully pics / video as they are going to the 11th wonder of the world and then the zoo. I think it might be this, but not sure:

One thing I think I forgot to mention was how great the Bogota airport experience was. These people have it DOWN and we could really learn a lot from the way they do things in aviation! Everyone is asked to be at the gate 1 1/2 hours before their flight where they are brought into their enclosed gate holding area. You check in, they check your carry on by hand and then you wait for your flight. They actually make people sit until their zone is called so there is not crazed crowd of 95 people standing in front of the gate slamming into each other, breathing down your neck and trying to take up the overhead space first. It's awesome. After the flight is full, they completely scrub the area and then start over with the next flight. While the guy was going through my carry on, I was looking outside and there went the US President's plane along with a trail of USAF planes. Had never seen the plane before in person.
