Wait lists, injuries and volcanoes

If I wasn't completely sure that I have the worst luck ever, I am now!  ;)

How does this happen? The first bizzaro issue is the fact that a sleeping volcano 70 miles from Bogota that hasn't erupted in nearly 30 is at orange level and about to blow any day now (see previous post to which I had no words at the time). Second in line of bizzaro is that I ran into a wall and seem to have dislocated my shoulder and have a labral tear. I am not sure which of the two are more ridiculous given the timing but number two is definitely not shocking to those who know me! Ha

Volcano - No new news on the volcano front....still at orange and they expect a possible eruption (but not guaranteed) any day to within a few weeks.

Shoulder - tomorrow I have an MRI with an IV containing dye to see how bad the shoulder injury is. They are going to give me a disc of the MRI which I can take to the doctor Friday morning so we don't have to wait for the report. He wanted to give me a cortisone shot for the pain but we are going to wait until Friday after the MRI. I mean.....who does this by walking into a wall?!

I spoke with Martha our Bogota rep on Monday and we were hoping to have a travel date but since this is a holy week in Colombia, the lady who she would schedule our integration date with is on vacation. She is going to call her this coming Monday and hope to get a travel date. More lessons in patience!

The summer camp in Burbank I was trying to get the girls in seems to be mostly full but oh, they have one week open and they would only be #8 and #9 wait listed on a couple of the weeks. Um, can someone explain to me how this does us any good? I am not sure how it works. Do they call you a few days before and tell you that a spot opened up for the following week because that is so easily worked around.  ;)  I did find another camp for teens that does have open space however it doesn't start until 6/25. What happened to the rest of June?

Still on the charter school wait list.....waiting

We found a psychologist for the girls last night. They do have one currently in Colombia and we aren't sure how often they go but we were told to find one for them who speaks Spanish. WE HAVE ONE PIECE OF THE PUZZLE IN!! Woohoo! FINALLY!
